This paper takes into consideration some pavement fragments brought to light on the northwestern slope of Capitoline Hill in the course of excavations undertaken in 1892 along via delle Tre Pile. These ancient floors are related with other remains discovered in 1930 by Colini during the construction of Via del Mare. The review of all available data has allowed to formulate a more precise typological and chronological classification of these pavements, increasing the knowledge on ancient pavements from the Regio VIII of Rome.
